Terms and Conditions


All charter(s), voyages and transfers are subject to the terms and conditions detailed below. These terms and conditions include any partners and or sub-contractors used by SeaFiji.

Rates and Currency: Rates are one way fares in Fiji Dollars based on the number of passengers per vessel and include all taxes.

Rates include 15% Value Added Tax (VAT). If amendments are made by the Fiji Government (and/or the addition of any new taxes) during this contract period, SeaFiji reserves the right to reissue the Rate Agreement in line with official government policy to reflect any such changes.

All SeaFiji Products are Free Sale – Properties excluded from free sale are : Six Senses, Matamanoa Island Resort and Sheraton Tokoriki Resort & Spa.

SeaFiji reserves the right to alter all prices, and apply a currency and/or fuel surcharge if necessary. The Fuel Surcharge is not payable at the current time. However, in the event of a significant increase in fuel prices, SeaFiji reserves the right to introduce a Fuel Surcharge. Customers will be notified of any such surcharge and the associated costs prior to its implementation.

CHILD POLICY:

Infants 0-1 years are FOC, 2+ years is counted as a passenger. Fishing Charter Rates, Anglers must be 13+ years and under the direct supervision of a parent or caregiver. Child Rates are valid for children 2 to 12 years inclusive. Please note that due to the grouping of rates for multiple resorts by region, a child price may be shown, the child policy of each resort applies. Adults only resorts, child rates do not apply.


Car seats are available for land transfers but must be booked prior to landing in Fiji. An extra fee of $25 applies

Airport Land & Sea Transfers 

SeaFiji Vessels are surveyed by MSAF(Maritime Safety Authority Fiji), insured with Complete Insurance Services PTE Limited, and fitted with live vessel tracking software.

Each passenger is allowed luggage weighing up to 30 kgs per individual bag as part of their booking. In addition, passengers are permitted to carry on a single bag weighing up to 12kg, such as a small backpack. However, any additional bags, surfboards, or sporting equipment will incur a charge of FJD$25 per piece. Passengers must notify us of any additional items at the time of booking.

SeaFiji hosts are available on requests at time of booking and are complementary. Seafiji Hosts are scheduled for bookings with infant and child passengers with a preference toward infant passengers.

All transfers are subject to sea and weather conditions, particularly in the interest of passenger and crew safety – if weather and sea conditions become unfavorable SeaFiji reserves the right to arrange alternative transport to another vessel for their comfort and safety. SeaFiji reserves the right to combine/cancel departures, arrange alternative transport, and/or vary schedules, itineraries, and services if necessary. Should the need arise to accommodate flight arrival/departure delays and/or changes, SeaFiji may on occasions have guests for transportation to another resort in this situation the vessel will disembark guests to the closest resort first.

SeaFiji reserves the right to combine transfers to accommodate flight delays and cancellations to ensure that no passenger is left stranded. The scheduled booking will depart on time and not wait for delayed passengers to join. The delayed passengers will wait to join the next available vessel. At times when the weather conditions, especially cyclones conditions November to April, transfers are combined to return every guest to the airport/mainland with safety and haste. SeaFiji reserves the right to charge for waiting time, additional passengers, cancellations or any variations to pick up or destination points

Nadi Airport to Port Denarau (Booking Code: PVT4, PVT6, PVT8, PVT15); Where applicable passengers are met at Nadi International Airport (NAN), Arrivals Hall (passed the information counter, our driver will be standing toward the end of hall) with passenger surnames on a clipboard and will be escorted to their vehicle and vessel transfer jetty.

Exception – all clients traveling on PRIVATE FAST BOAT TRANSFER (Booking Code R#P4,R#P8,R#P12,R#P16,R#P20), Seafiji provides a complimentary private vehicle transfer service from Nadi Airport to Port Denarau in time to connect with the vessel departure time from our Private Jetty located at Port Denarau. Complimentary airport transfers must be booked in advance of the travel date.

Seafiji Direct Island Resorts to Nadi Airport and vice versa. (Booking Code R#D4,R#D8,R#D12,R#D16,R#D20) Rates include vessel and airport transfer via our private airport jetty on Naisoso Island with Seat in Vehicle transfer to/from Nadi Airport. Both the paid and complimentary private vehicle airport transfer must be booked in advance and failure to do so will result in the service not being provided. DoubleTree Resort Sonaisali, Vuda Marina, First Landing, Anchorage,Lautoka and Marriott at Momi a relocation fee per one way sector applies
to connect with all vessel transfers.

Booking and Reconfirmation Transfers (excluding tidal properties and group transfers) can be Freesold up to 7 days prior to the transfer date. Freesale bookings are to be on a “Sell and Report” basis with a seven (7) day close-off. Bookings made within 7 days of the transfer date are to be on a request basis and will be confirmed within 24hrs by return email by our reservations team. To secure a booking email [email protected] within 24hrs a
SeaFiji Confirmation Number will be issued by return mail.

Clients/Agents must advise in/outbound flight number and scheduled arrival/departure time is required for each sector at the time of booking. Child ages must be advised at the time of booking to avoid adult rates being charged.

Payment

Full payment is required on the 22nd day of the next calendar month of confirmed travel date. E.g. Travel Date is 1st to 31st April payment is due on the 22 of May. 3% Interest will be calculated on late payments from the date payment became overdue. Confirmation of bookings will be suspended until arrears are paid.

Contract: On receipt of booking reference number and SeaFiji PTE Ltd, issuing our SF# confirmation number, a binding contract shall be deemed to exist between the passenger(s) and SeaFiji Pte Ltd subject to the terms and conditions herein.

Credit Card or International Debit Card payments will incur a 3% administration fee (non-refundable) on all transactions. Allow 7 working days for Refunds to be processed.

Payment may be made Credit Card or Direct Deposit to our bank account;

Amendment Fees : No fees apply to amend to another SeaFiji Pte Ltd service or an alternative date. If the amended travel date is subsequently canceled irrespective of whether travel is outside the 48 hours cancellation policy, a 100%, less service fee, cancellation fee applies.


Cancellation Fees: 

All cancellations must be received in writing by the SeaFiji reservations team email: [email protected]. Cancellation fees apply to any unused components prior to the original date of travel based on the following policies:

  • Cancellations made by customers more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time are eligible for a full refund less $110FJD service fee.
  • 3% administration fee charged for bookings paid with a credit card is non-refundable
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
  • SeaFiji reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will be offered a rescheduled transfer or a full refund.
  • There are no partial refunds for any unused sectors of travel after the first sector of the travel has commenced.

 

Refund Policy


Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7-10 business days from the date of the cancellation request.

Refund Procedure: To initiate a refund request, passengers must contact our customer service team via email or phone, providing the booking details, reason for cancellation and bank account details for refund to be processed into.

Liability

The Passenger acknowledges that during the transfer the vessel is under complete control and the sole responsibility of the Captain. SeaFiji reserves the right to refuse to carry or to remove from service, any passenger who is intoxicated by drugs/alcohol who may pose a potential threat to themselves, others or property. All additional costs incurred as a result will be borne by the passenger and or agent and that sector of travel will be deemed to have been traveled. Smoking is not permitted on our vessels. Any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or pregnancies must be advised at the time of booking. A medical certificate may be required for travel. All transfers are subject to sea and weather conditions. Should adverse conditions prevent operation the client is responsible for their own additional accommodation costs. SeaFiji Pte Ltd is not responsible for any missed connections or transfers as a result of delayed services. Where another company or persons operate accommodation, transfer or shore transfers, SeaFiji Pte Ltd is only acting as a Sales Agent. Responsibility for the operation and liability lies with the operators solely and not with SeaFiji Pte Ltd. SeaFiji Pte Ltd cannot be held responsible for missed flights due to late arrival at airline check-in counters. SeaFiji Pte Ltd strongly recommends that all customers hold a valid travel insurance policy, essential during cyclone season months, November to April. SeaFiji Pte Ltd will take every care and precaution possible and we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to passenger’s personal effects Seafiji Pte Ltd shall not be held responsible for any claim resulting from personal injury or death arising whilst traveling with the company, participating in activities or other company property. This disclaimer applies irrespective of the cause. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Fiji Islands jurisdiction, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws. By making a booking with SeaFiji, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. SeaFiji reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the SeaFiji website. Customers are advised to review the terms and conditions regularly for updates. Travel is subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
